Why do we want to do foster care?
Why do we want to adopt?
What do we want to care for "someone else's" children?
Why do we want to adopt?
What do we want to care for "someone else's" children?
James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
All we're trying to do is what Jesus asks of us.
As Christians, we believe not only have we been adopted by our Heavenly Father; we are also called to care for the fatherless here on Earth.
For some, that will mean prayer.
For some, that will mean financial giving.
For others, it means bringing these children into our home and our family.
Matthew 25:35-36
For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me...
Through the grace of God, we're doing our best to point them to our Loving Father.
And who better to do this than the Body of Christ?
God never intended for the State or Government to care for these children.
He asked His followers.
These children need HOPE!
They need LOVE!
They need us, Followers of Jesus, to stand up and defend their cause.
It can be messy.
It can be painful.
It is often a road of giving up much.
But the reward is Eternal.
It is being the hands and feet of Jesus in the lives of these children.
Psalms 68:5

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
